What's ignored in the check
Only letters and digits are compared. Spaces, punctuation and emoji are dropped, capitals become lowercase and accents are removed, so ă counts as a and ș as s. That's why phrases work as well as single words — "A man, a plan, a canal: Panama" in English, or "Ele fac cafele" in Romanian. Digits count too: the date 22.02.2022 reads 22022022 both ways.
