What counts as a duplicate
Two lines are duplicates only if they match exactly, character for character. "Ion Popescu", "ion popescu" and "Ion Popescu " (with a trailing space) are three different lines. For lists of names or emails, run Text Cleaner first to remove stray spaces, and Case Converter → lowercase if capitals don't matter.
Order and blank lines
The list isn't sorted: every line stays where it first appeared, and only later repeats are removed. Since all blank lines are identical, only the first one is kept — handy for squeezing a list, but if your text has paragraphs, the blank lines between them will disappear after the first.
