Sorted the way your language sorts
Lines are compared with your browser's language rules rather than raw character codes. That keeps "éclair" next to "eclair" instead of after "z". With a Romanian browser, ă, â, î, ș and ț are treated as letters of their own, in dictionary order (a, ă, â, b … s, ș, t, ț); in English they're sorted together with a, i, s and t.
Blank lines and duplicates
Empty lines are dropped from the sorted result. Duplicates are kept and end up next to each other — run the list through Remove Duplicate Lines afterwards if you only want each entry once.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sort in reverse?
Yes — choose Z–A for descending order.
How are numbers and capitals handled?
Capitals and lowercase are sorted together (apple, Apple, b, Zebra), not all capitals first. Numbers are compared as text, so "10" comes before "9" — write 09, 10 if you need numeric order.

No — sorting happens in your browser.
